A FISH STORY

Mornings glow speaking of new horizons
and many fading nights. Violent mist
streaking at eyes limit. Radiant rays
flowing upward, piercing clouds and
silhouettes of dimmed moonlight. Winds
swelling waves, easier catching sight of
minnows in great schools. Gulls diving,
breakfast and a bath, for me long past
worries, yet I wonder why when I pass
the pier, they all want to catch me? Don't
they know I'm waiting for the end also!
