email: julie@treasured-blessings.com TORN There comes a time in life when we must decide which way to go --- but we are TORN There comes a time in life when we must decide if we wish to continue to grow --- but we are TORN There comes a time in life when all we can do is let GO --- but we are TORN TORN because of emotional distress, torn because of family unrest, torn because of lack of rest; torn because we failed to ACT We must decide which way to go; we must decide if we wish to continue to grow; we must decide if it is better to let GO --- but we are TORN TORN and now we are feeling stressed; torn and now we are feeling trapped; torn and now we are feeling like crap, torn because we failed to ACT In life we all make choices; we choose to go right or we choose to go left; we choose to be weak or we choose to be strong; we choose to be led astray or we choose to lead the way; we choose to be TORN or we choose to be WHOLE. Now its time to take control of our lives and do what we know is best; if we are feeling a little skeptical ask GOD he will help us pass this test. He gives us no more then we can bear; our limits he has set; he will make us whole and re-nourish our souls; all he asks is that we draw him near. No longer will we be feeling TORN our burdens will disappear; he will lift us up; and refill our cup; with wisdom; joy and lots of good cheer. ©Written by Julie Murray (2004) of Treasured Blessings-Bermuda _______________________________________________________________________________________ In Times of Sorrow In times of trouble and sorrow; please know that there is a brighter tomorrow. In times of sickness and mourning; please know a new day is dawning. In times of depression and sadness; there must eventually come gladness. In times of disillusionment and despair; always know the Almighty is there. These sorrowful times will occur in every ones life time, but always remember that they occur for a reason, and many times last for a season. At the end of the season, one must move forward knowing that these sorrowful times have taught them lessons of great significance and bought them Blessings beyond compare. © Written by Julie Murray of Treasured Blessings-Bermuda _______________________________________________________________________________________ LOVE Love is a word which many find hard to describe. Yet love comes and goes, in very subtle ways, if our hearts are open to receive love it will enter knowingly. If our hearts are closed it will go by unseen, but please know it will return again, and again, giving us continual opportunities to receive it. There are many levels of love, but they all start out with the same foundation. The word love is best described as follows:- Love is deep within each and everyone of us, love is respectful, love is meek, love is mild, love is gentle, love is caring, love is genuine, love is kind, love is patient, love is divine, love is endless joy, love is sharing, love is giving and being open to receive, love is always sensual, tender and true. Love is not hurtful, love does not cause pain, love does not cause sorrow, love does not make one blue, love only enhances ones life, love rejuvenates the heart, and reopens the soul, allowing one to live on a natural high. So you see love has numerous meanings, but love means everything to those who know that love is what is needed in the world today. Let’s love one another and have that same love reflected back to us. It is encouraging one to grow, to blossom, to bloom, to flourish - it is living peacefully, harmoniously and happily. It is counting our blessings day by day. If you love someone set them free - and allow them to be - all they want to be.
