Dear Subscriber,

Hello and welcome to the 1st edition of our second newsletter of the week!  We hope this week is going well for you.  Take time to plan what you are going to do today as well as reflect on what you did yesterday, both to improve what you will do tomorrow.

The answer to our quote-of-the-week challenge last week was Aldous Huxley from the novel ‘Brave New World.’  If you have not read it, we recommend it!  Check out the quote this week and good luck!

Below are the quotes for the week.  Please take time with each of the quotes and fully appreciate its meaning.

Let a man in a garret but burn with enough intensity and he will set fire to the whole world. -Antoine de Saint-Exupery (1900-1944)

To make your children capable of honesty is the beginning of education. -John Ruskin (1819-1900)

Act decidedly and take the consequences.  No good is ever done by hesitation. -Thomas Henry Huxley (1825-1895)

Your vision will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. -Carl Jung (1875-1961)

There is more in us than we know.  If we can be made to see it, perhaps, for the rest of our lives, we will be unwilling to settle for less. -Kurt Hain (1886-1974) – (founder, Outward Bound)
