October
28, 1999 Hello
and we hope that you are well! Happy
Halloween! We
have improved our web page! Now,
it’s easier to navigate and more fun to use – thank you for the suggestions
from Sweden! Please take time to read and think about each of the quotes below:
A
moment’s insight is sometimes worth a life’s experience. I
have friends in overalls whose friendship I would not swap for the favor of the
kings of the world. A
wonderful realization will be the day you realize that you are unique in all the
world. There is nothing that is an accident. You are a special combination for a
purpose-and don't let them tell you otherwise, even if they tell you that
purpose is an illusion. (Live an illusion if you have to). You are that
combination so that you can do what is essential for you to do. Don't ever
believe that you have nothing to contribute. The world is an incredible
unfulfilled tapestry. And only you can fulfill that tiny space that is yours. The
act of writing is the act of discovering what you believe. I
don’t deserve this, but I have arthritis, and I don’t deserve that either. Intellectual
property has the shelf life of a banana. For
as children tremble and fear everything in the blind darkness, so we in the
light sometimes fear what is no more to be feared than the things children in
the dark hold in terror and imagine will come true.
